Visual Experience Design - context
As Industrial Designer, the way you communicate your design by visuals and/or reports, is actually your business card. For this reason, I choose the elective ‘Visual Experience Design’. In this course different techniques were explored to visualise (interactive) designs, touching on graphic design, interface design, experience design, notational techniques and more.

Achievements
By the different practical assignments, I gained a deeper understanding of the building blocks of visual expression and communication. As such, I also learned to aline the content with the form of a (visual) experience design taking into account the purpose and the user group to address.
I developed or increased my skills in using programs like Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop and how to combine those. I’m happy with what I achieved, taking into account these programs are quite extensive. The results and reflections can be viewed by scrolling on the portfolio above.
This elective was also ideal to end up in my own pitfall of ‘endlessly shifting elements and text and updating photos ' on a level someone else would never notice. This still will be a point of attention, spending a little less energy would still be good enough!
